Coming of Age Poster Draft

  1. Hey Sharmaine!
The words on your poster work really well together. It has different effects making your poster even better. I like the way you put a little staircase with the words on top. It really shows coming of age because it shows you go through those aspects you wrote like Independence, making choices, maturity, and so forth, all the way to coming of age. The black and white color work really well together. I think the color should stay the same. Just implement your picture on your poster in some way (probably you on the stairs) and your poster should turn out really great!

  2. Hey Sharmiane [:

I like your idea of making a staircase with words that describe what "coming of age" means too you. However, you're poster kind of seems boring and plain because it's black&white. You should try making it more colorful. I agree with Traci that you should include a picture of yourself in your poster, maybe going up the stairs. Other then that i think you're poster is really good, you're so creative! HAHA [:

  3. Hi Sharmaine,
I agree with your teammates that your words and layout are very nicely done. The words show thought and the transition from the little girl at the bottom to the teen at the top provides another representation of the process.
I also agree with your teammates that it might be good to add your picture to it...perhaps put your face on the girl at the top or something. I also think that you might include some background images, perhaps at lower opacity or feathered or something, to add to the typography.
